Welcome to Rainbow Maths Abacus! I’m Arita, founder of Rainbow Maths Abacus, with over four years of experience as an online tutor specializing in Abacus techniques and mental math. I studied Education and Training at Dublin City University and completed the Introduction to Children First course with Tusla.
I am Garda vetted for a safe teaching environment and a certified Microsoft Word Specialist. My background also includes working with children at a Family Center and teaching coding.
My lessons are full of excitement and energy, where we mix fun with a bit of hard work! On top of that, as an extra treat, we’ll learn some amazing math tricks that will make you feel like a math wizard. What We DoIn Our Lessons
At Rainbow Maths, every lesson is fun, interactive, and full of learning! 🌈
During our sessions, we use a variety of methods to help students develop strong mental math and problem-solving skills. We usually start with engaging worksheets and abacus practice, followed by dictation and Flash Anzan exercises to boost focus and speed. Students also enjoy memory games and mental maths challenges that make learning exciting.
At the end of each lesson, or as homework, students receive practice tasks through Kahoot and Blooket, and they can also test their skills using online mock tests on our website. As students progress to higher levels, they receive more advanced homework to match their growing abilities.
Our students actively participate in various competitions, including Abacus Maths, Kangaroo Maths, Mental Maths World Cup, and our own Rainbow Maths Competitions. 🎖️
To keep motivation high, we offer Homework Buddy gifts and medals to those who show dedication and enthusiasm during lessons. We also host STEM-based competitions that encourage creativity and critical thinking.

Rainbow Maths offers both one-to-one and group lessons. While we don’t accept online payments directly for lessons, we ask you to complete an online form. After submitting the form, we will get in touch via your preferred method—either email or WhatsApp—to finalize lesson times and days. Once we’ve agreed on the schedule, payment can be arranged.
